The German police announced that one person has died, and others injured in a fire that broke out Thursday evening in a hospital in the town of Uelzen, north of Germany near the city of Hamburg.

The police stated that the fire resulted in six people being critically injured, with many others suffering from minor injuries.

About 20 days ago, two people were killed, and three others were seriously injured due to a fire in a three-story building in the city of Offenbach, near Frankfurt.

One of the victims was a child initially rescued from the burning residential building but later succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
